Adaptation of the premises located in the building of a historic town hall to serve as an exhibition space dedicated to the historical and cultural heritage of Kalisz and the region near Kalisz.

Description of the project:

The objective of the project involves conservation, protection, promotion and development of the cultural heritage of the City of Kalisz as well as the region near Kalisz. The material scope of the project is to cover the adaptation of the premises located in the historic town hall (basement of the town hall, patio, town hall tower together with a viewing platform and the corridor located at the entrance to the tower, hall) as well as the adaptation of the entire building to meet the needs of people with disabilities. The aim is to establish an exhibition dedicated to the City itself and the Kalisz-Ostrów Agglomeration as well as tourist services. The project consists of two main implementation objectives:

a) adaptation of the premises located in the historic town hall building to meet the cultural purposes - construction works, purchase of stationery equipment as well as the development of digital content,

b) adaptation of the town hall building to meet the needs of people with disabilities (extension of the lift and the reconstruction of the external stairs located at the entrance to the town hall and installation of the platform - crane).
