Project description:

As a result of the project, a research and development centre was established at the horse clinic in Buk, equipped with specialist medical equipment, dedicated to image diagnostics and treatment of orthopaedic horse disorders. The project was divided into three stages: construction of the centre, its equipment, and research and development works. Research and development works were carried out on precise implementation of stem cells in the treatment of deep digital flexor tendon injuries, collateral ligaments of the hoof joint and the navicular bone in horses. In addition, the effectiveness of laser therapy in tendon and ligament disorders as well as magnet therapy in case of joint degeneration were studied. As part of the project, software for four-dimensional diagnostics of the locomotor system was implemented.
