The project was realised in the following locations: towns of Kleszczewo and Tulce, in Poznan poviat, in Wielkopolska Region. The direct beneficiaries of this project include Kleszczewo Commune and Zakład Komunalny w Kleszczewo sp. z o.o. (Municipal Establishment). The residents of Poznan poviat, in particular living in Kleszczewo Commune and the City of Poznan are to be the final Beneficiaries. The project included the preparation and implementation of the following elements: construction of two transfer junctions together with accompanying infrastructure, construction of a bicycle route, purchase of buses accompanied by the modernization of technical facilities and a promotional campaign. The realisation of the project resulted in reduction of CO2 emissions, improvement of the condition of the environment and cost efficiency of transport. Moreover, it increased the accessibility and attractiveness of travelling when using public transport. Additionally, the project enabled the increase of the coherence and intermodality of the transport system, improvement of the comfort and safety of travellers, reduction of the use of cars and reduction of energy consumption. 9 buses were purchased and 8 Park & Ride (P&R) facilities were built for a total of 318 parking spaces as part of the project.
