The project involved the extension of the provincial road no. 444 Krotoszyn - Odolanów - Ostrzeszów regarding the section running from the national road no. 25 to Szklarka Myślniewska. The length of the planned extension section covers 2 860 km. The planned investment consists of: demolition of the existing road surface, construction of the road surface in case of the provincial road no. 444 and intersecting roads, reconstruction and expansion of intersections with public roads, construction of culverts, construction and reconstruction of individual exits as well as internal roads, construction of pavements (this refers to selected sections), construction of hard shoulders, construction of slopes using humus and grass sowing and/or strengthening it using stone rip-rap, construction of roadside drainage ditches, construction of storm water drainage and road drainage elements, construction of lights designated for pedestrian crossings, reconstruction and protection of the telecommunications network, reconstruction and protection of the water supply network, introducing horizontal and vertical marking, construction of traffic safety elements, construction of culverts under the exits, compensation plantings. The extension of the voivodeship road no. 444 bears strategic importance when it comes to the improvement of traffic conditions and further development of the region: it offers a convenient intra-regional connection, serves as beneficial connection between the region and the network of roads representing higher category as well as facilitates road traffic from touristic and economic perspective.
