Modernization of the Pavilion No. 2 for Patients at the Hospital in Ludwikowo and the purchase of hardware and medical equipment for the Greater Poland Centre for Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery named after Eugenia and Janusz Zeyland

Description of the project:

The project involves the modernization and reconstruction of the Pavilion No. 2 for Patients constituting a part of the buildings of the Greater Poland Centre for Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery - Hospital in Ludwikowo as well as the purchase of hardware and medical equipment for the hospitals in Poznań, Chodzież and Ludwikowo.

The project implementation process was divided into two stages - a construction investment and a purchase investment.

The construction investment concerning the Pavilion No. 2 for Patients in Ludwikowo included construction works, installation works, repair of the structure and replacement of the roof covering, repair of the facade and external works, winter garden, lift shaft extension and lift replacement.

The Centre purchased endoscopic and imaging diagnostic devices and equipment as part of the purchase investment.

• The following equipment was purchased for the purpose of performing endoscopic diagnostics: video-bronchofiberoscopes video-bronchofiberscope, a video-processor with a xenon light source, an EBUS ultrasonic video-bronchoscope, an automatic washing unit and a cabinet for storing endoscopes.
• The following equipment was purchased for the purpose of the imaging diagnostic: digital bone and pulmonary x-ray machine and ultrasound machines, mobile ultrasound machine.
• Moreover, ward equipment was purchased as well such as hospital beds and bedside cabinets.
