Project description:

The project consisted in the development, production and implementation of an e-service based on the collected and processed source data sets obtained as a result of analyses of biological material collected from people infected with SARS-CoV-2 in Greater Poland.

The e-services offered will let us recreate the history of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic in Wielkopolska, identify the main pathways of the virus spread and identify the weakest points in the strategy of protecting citizens from the epidemiological threat in the region. In this way, the project will contribute not only to the fight against SARS-CoV-2, but also to the creation of improved protection procedures against this type of threats in the future in the region, in cooperation with key scientific units, laboratories and infectious diseases hospitals in Poznan and Wielkopolska and selected local government units. Technological support covers bioinformatics analyzes and optimization processes for the selection of various conditions and parameters describing the virtual model of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. The created e-services will also enable secure communication along with the adaptation of e-services to the individual needs of users and public institutions involved in the fight against the pandemic in Wielkopolska. The developed e-services enable advanced visualization of the state and dynamics of the pandemic development in Wielkopolska, along with additional functionalities related to the processing, analysis and sharing scientific data and support for COVID-19 diagnostics based on image data using artificial intelligence methods.
