The main objective of the project involved the establishment of 20 places in children’s playgroup designated for children up to 3 years of age in Trzcinica Commune and financing their current functioning for 24 months. Consequently, the parents experiencing difficulties on the job market due to the need of taking care for children under 3 years of age could continue working, find or actively seek work. The project was carried out by establishing a new nursery in a building located at Szkolna 2 street in Trzcinica. The main activities covered by the project were as follows: adaptation works concerning 12 rooms; refurnishing 8 rooms with furniture and equipment; equipping one room with teaching materials and toys; creating 20 spots for children up to 3 years of age and financing 24 months of the nursery’s current functioning. After the financing from the European Social Fund ceases, the places created thanks to the project will be financed for a period of at least two years from the end of the project using the following sources: Applicant's own funds, fees paid by parents and subsidies other than the ones from European funds that the Applicant is to obtain to meet this purpose .
