Project description:

As a result of the project implementation, an easily accessible system of institutions providing family support services was established. The project is addressed to the youngest residents of Wielkopolska, in particular those from communities potentially threatened by social exclusion. As part of the project, neighbourhood after-school care centres were established, which operate as day-support centres. Each day-care centre is run by an educator and volunteers from the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP). In turn, classes are held in small groups, which allows get to know the children well and properly diagnose the area in which they need support to develop their social competences. Additionally, the participants of the project take part in educational, music and art workshops organized by scouts, as well as field activities, such as rallies and camping trips.
